  1. Well in our country the LUPO EIBACH kit comes with front and rear bars and some other small features as well. But any of ya know what Tigz meant by the difference between Eibach and the origi anti roll kits? Shall I be aware of something?
  2. RESPECT, Jenson!!!What a great race. Whatever your feelings for Jenson are this was his race and I wish to see him on 1st place more in the future(even if I am a scuderia tifosi style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> ). Congratulations from Czech republic to Jenson and to Honda!
  3. An interesting opinion Tigz. What is the problem with the Eibach? I was opting for one...it seemed quite sophisticated as it does not include only front strut.
  4. Hi there. Any 1 tried this anti roll kit from Eibach (or any other anti-roll kit)? Does it work. I need to stiffen the chassis. Considering buying 1 as the chassis of the Loop feels very soft and free to roll style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> comparing to a Saxo VTS or 106 GTI. G.
  5. Thanks for the answer. This oil costs 3-4 times the best gear box oils (at least in our country). Any ideas what it is different in? I was thinking of using Castrol or Mobil1 oils but dont know the specifications. Does anybody know? Thanks for the answer. This oil costs 3-4 times the best gear box oils (at least in our country). 6. Hi there. Any of ya guys know the specification of the gearbox oil? I was told by the guys from VW that it does not need to be changed ever so I dont need no specifications as it is a VW speciality this oil. I had a debate on this issue with a friend of mine working for Mercedes and we both agreed that it good to change it after 40k miles (Just our opinion) as it gets the hell sometimes style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> . I think I will need 2 liters. I was thinking of using 75W-90 DOT4. Any other ideas or proposals? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" /> P.S. Concerning the engine oil for those of ya willing to change it I needed 3,5 liters in a GTI (well I poured 4 liters in and had to let 0,5 liters flow out). style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> P.S.2 Any ideas if the new 1,4 TFSI (about 200 BHP) engine will fit into the Loop? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  7. If you are a least a little bit skilled and you have the equipment needed you can repair it at home. Takes max. 1-1,5 hour. Look at the How to... section. It helped me a lot. Mine contacts were rusted and falling apart but I repaired it. Saved me a lot of money style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

    What ET?

Regular Lupo GTI wheels either 15s or 16s ET 35 is suggested. I think ET 32 would do the job as well.

Do you? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Honestly Tigz this is the only web for LUPOs and AROSAs that has something to say...and search the web well before style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Really like it mate!

This is a "must have". Georgeous mate!!!
  11. Hi mate, How hard is to set the limiter to 7500? Sure must bug in the ECU. I am interested in but found no 1 so far who would be able to work on it.
  12. I know. No worries mate. Your evil will Rock and Roll as well style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I am sure!!!
  13. Holy f**k! You must be f**king great sport motor builders. You have my RESPECT!!! Well good luck to Tigz putting his babe together and to you LINCOLNSHIRESLUPOGTI many many miles with no problem. Guys I am so sad that I dont live in UK or at least near by... just trying such an evil machine style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> once in a lifetime. Or at least hearing that evil screaming... Oooohhhh it must feel like motor heaven! I hope I will be able to download the videos including the sound style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  14. Dont worry with the consumption. I have mine GTI with no mods. When I brought the baby home I did 170 miles (approx. 250 km) on 1 full tank, full throttleing only 70-80% of the journey style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> But had a lot of fun with it and a smile from ear to ear style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Congrat to the beast!!! Shame I dont live near by I could hear and experience it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Must be georgeous!!!

    music...

Bit of everything: Sting, U2, REM, System of a down, Green day (older tracks), Offspring (older tracks), Foo Fighters, Daniel Lemma (a swedish guy whose music rocks), Vivaldi, Beethoven, HIM, Rasmus, Peter Gabriel, Norah Jones, Phil Collins, Sunshine, Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix, Deep Purple, Bob Marley, Beatles, Iron Maiden... style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":coffee:" border="0" alt="coffee.gif" /> Depends a lot on the mood...
  16. I had some reports from friends they flocked, last only for 1 to max 2 years (when well treated). But with the right yolour looks perfect.
  17. 5 Liters? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" /> Ok. I thought it was only 4 liters. Thanks for da info. Now it is clear style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  18. No comment... style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Everything importatnt has been listed.
  19. Thats it? VW 500 00 or 502 00? I thought there will be a specification like 5W-40 or so... I will try Mobil1 5W-50v then. Heard that its a great oil. Will see. I am a bit afraid that using 0W-30 or 40 may lead to a slight oil pressure decrease.

    My '05 Fox

Hi there. Very nice. Dont like regular Fox but this 1 looks great! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> Lookin forward to the GTI! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  21. The earth is the black or the brown. In this case the brown I think... I dont know the others, sorry.
  22. Reduced? Givin the loop such a hard time that it has to be changed earlier? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> Honestly would prefer 4 year and 40k service as well.
  23. If its not in the user manual it is strange. I had the oil specs and recommended motor oils in my Mitsu Colt users manual at the time I was owning 1. Was thinking also of changing the gearbox oil. I was told (by VW dealer) to let it be as the gearbox oil has not to be changed ever...but...will do so even though.
  24. As far as I know the VW has its norms for all engine oils...but I wonder if the engine oil pressure isnt too low with 0W-30 oil style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" /> . I also heard that cars produce from 2002 on are filled with Longlife oils (change intervals for all engines are extended). But I dont know the oil specs for GTI as I dont have the users manual style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> I think synth 5W-40 is quite universal so it may do the job (not too thick and not too liquid)...but still not sure about 0W-30 as this oil is totally different when speaking about all oil characteristics for winter and for summer. It is a easy running motor oil - good for winter (easily starts) but the reserve for high temperatures isnt that big (see only 30 - the higher the number is the higher the temperature reserve) - could be a small problem on a hot summer day with lower oil pressure. Or am I making it too complicated style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> So in my opinion the 5W-40 (or 5W-50) could be the choice fro GTI style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Anyone know the exact oil specs for Loop GTI? May be in the users manual. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  25. No prob with the oil pressure? Concerning the spec of oil I thought that 5W-40 is the recommended one for tha GTI (2002 onwards). Have no user manual so I am not sure though. Anyone could tell me the spec. for motor and gearbox oil from the users manual? Thanx.
