  1. More than likely, i park there for uni. didn't spot you though! Thanks! maybe one day it will be real haha
  2. Opinions on these please! The 'conservative'. The 'Liberal'. Blue tinted mirrors Amber indicators De-lock Wood steering wheel (nardi?) VW centre caps Wheel color change (I'm set on silver) Let me know if you have any other ideas.
  3. It wasn't surprisingly. it was in a corner where one of the spokes meets the outer part of the wheel. JOMs getting ordered at the end of the month with top mounts for easy installation while I'm off foe easter. Tyres are 195/45/15 so the usual size (or one of) but might size down for some stretch once they wear out. Don't want it to look too 'stancy' though cause i'm not going low enough for 15" stance, and don't really want to have to do arch work.
  4. MOT passed. One advisory saying that the off side rear break is weak compared to the near side.
  5. Is this the one that was going for 300 quid or something?
  6. Washed the car for the first time in ages yesterday, waxed it. Turns out my ****ty pressure washer took a nice bit of lacquer off one of the wheels....wonderful. Hard to understand as my pressure washer is as powerful as childs piss. Sorry Mike! Looks like that refurb might be sooner than i thought.
  7. i have some cheap ones off ebay, the colour is spot on, but you might as well just not have them on as far as output goes. They'll fail an MOT now as any film on the bulb that is there to change the output colour is now cause for failure. i'll be investing in the ring 120% ones after the night breakers - After trying loads of 'xenon look' bulbs and they've all been shocking in terms of being able to see.
  8. Got a big payday coming so time for a list. Jom coilovers New top mounts and bearings. Spacers for the rear then later: Refurb Wheels Should be fairly low budget and should re-kindle the flame so to speak.
  9. What's the lowest offset you reckon i could get away with on a 6.5j rear wheel on stock arches and 195/45/15 tyres? Want some spacers.
  10. is hilarious sh*t.Loving the civic line towards the end.
  11. might have some lowering springs for sale in a month or two if you havnt sorted them by then. love bathursts
  12. Its not even bad! Just seem to be falling out of love with it mainly due to it not being low enough to look good. Its just justifying spending money on this car that could go towards a nicer car, to then spend money on.
  13. Right, so nothings happened with this because i'm in two minds wether to keep it or not. as i see it i have two options: -Throw some JOMs on it and run it 'til it dies on me. -Try to find a GTI to buy in the summer
  14. Just saw this on auto trader also, thought 2,000 was a bit cheap.
  15. gold / 'aeromax' i think they call it would be cool
  16. No i got a quote with aviva and they honour it. They were cheaper too, but the majority wanted to stick with admiral.
  17. noooo, insured myself for 90 days after i passed my test, admiral give you a years no claims after a minimum of 90 days.
  18. Payed 1200 at 17, then this years renewal is 930-ish at 18 with 2 years NCB (don't ask) Could get a GTI insured for 1500, which is ever-so tempting. All on Admiral Multicar with 3 cars on it.

    HELP

Dont do it - keep them for when you can lower it
  20. springs and shocks are generally more comfortable, and cheaper than coilovers
