I just love the Lupo ront end, aslo Lupos pull of an oldskool look but arosa's dont really imo. My arosa is great tbh, like it but like the look o a Lupo more
-
Easy mate, just a plug in kit... Makes a LOT o difference though.... went for the 6k kit so not too blue.
-
Tester Go on, hate me Rear is all the way down with the adjuster ring out, so need to mess and go a bit lower...dont really want to remove blocks

Got 16's on my arosa et38...no scrubbing with 195/40's.
-
Nothing lol....there for sale though

Yeh, that size rim and high offsets are just not gonna work. Take the rim, put it against the car and try work out what spacers you will need. Probs at least 15mm. Its mostly guess work at the minute, so just try it. They will go on but how well they will fit is another story. IMO 16's need to be tucked to look good. 14's for poke

After market HID kits - using a relay

Really Mine go MUCH MUCH further than normal lights and focus perfect? Mine wern't from Hong kong, wonder if there not as good a kit? Heres a pic but hard to tell how good they are on here, mines a 6oook kit. Beams lower than normal here to as i was messing. H4 bulbs use a relay for high/low dipping, ours are H7's with seperate bulbs for high beam so are simpler. Had the H4's on the Jetta, worked perfectly. -
8x14 et25's DIDNT rub, 8x14 et 20's might just be that bit too much? B5's foul, borbet t's dont...had both them on the sport. Liked the look of both, i'd go with the borbets again though..look V similar but direct fit with a little scrubbage if low enough. Edit, had 8x14 et15 rsl cults too but never tried them on a loop, they DIDNT clear the calipers on my mk1 though lol so not sure about 256's...the mk1 only had 239mm's. Lovely wheel though with a tasty dish. Pricey compared to borbet/brocks.

Probably et40, ive just put et37's 7j in 15" on my arosa and "just" about tuck in on the back but the coily's dont really go low enough to do that. The fronts are also JUST inside but will foul the plastic inner arch if low enough. ET40 should just about clear inner struts etc, any more on 7j and i think it may foul....Shove some 165/40/16's on and that will help a lot. Im just about to go to 16" 7j et38's on those tyres so i'll find out Pic on 15's with 195/45's

You mean mk1 golf gti's? They were black and silver used on those depending on the car colour. Usually available on ebay. Would need to check the length....Personally i'd just get two stripes made from a graphics place, one thin and one thick...thats all they are.
-
Yeh but on 8x14 et25 brocks you will need to shave the calipers cos the spokes on that particular wheel fouls it. Borbet t's in 8x14 et 20 fit straight on, with 195/45/14's. See, i found this out the hard way, you dont need to
-
Ok so im alone with the 16's lol, id never really go for them but....why not!

styledynamix dubmiester AAT ebay.co.uk (felgenhaus seller) ebay.de (pretty much porn)

Theres too many to list, brock b5's and borbet t's in 8x14 are popular and we had both styles. Look through the galleries and im sure you will see loads. Steffan bcw's, bbs splits, etc etc. Lots if you have a search. Et20-25 seems about right for 8x14's on 195/45/14's. ET is offset, how much the wheels stick out...again discussed hugely pretty much everyday.
-
Hmm, cheers chris...i may pm him thanks. The rh's are for sale already lol
-
Thats right, if you cant be bothered to look after them.
-
As title really, anyone running 16's on a loop/arousa? Ideally non gti? Gonna be on 165/40's though so will help with clearance when lowered etc but just wondering if anyones got some already and how it takes them? There et38 aswell so not too bad
