Hi I've had a battery drain on my lupo, and i know it's the CCM, i removed the fuse and then it lasted a couple of days and now i have removed the actual CCM and the drain has now stopped but i'm finding it hard to find a replacement. VW wants £150 for one! But there's a few on ebay for a lot less; the have the same product code - 1C0 962 258 J - but the code underneath it, is different in the last 6 numbers. Does anyone know if it has to be exactly the same to work? Or could i get away with buying one off of ebay? Thanks

Just bought sub,amp, door speakers and 6x9s. Now i need to attempt to fit it all when i don't have a cluee lol Should be fun!

Passed by test on the 13th. Got it insured for £1580.25 with admiral with no mods, and my dad as a named driver as it made it £200 cheaper. Dads make it cheaper than mums do for some odd reason? I'm 17, female, student with a part time job as a sales assistant with a 1.4 16v, year 2000.

I did mine last month and ipassed it, i had the BSM theory book and cd which i borrowed off my mates. I clicked once when i first saw it, and then just before you have to break or something. It is hard to get right and i barely got full marks on each of the hazards but i got enough points to pass lol I don't think you need to click 3 times just to make sure, that is probably a bit too much. I think the pass marks for it are quite low, just get the right CD to practise and you'll hopefully pass

There is a section on how to do it in the How To section. It's cheap, looks easy enough and is legal.

Ouchhh looks painfull! Hope you're all okayy The rave tents at other shows i've been are always alot bigger but i dont think anybody gets hurt really, i supose you just get the inconsiderate few that don't care what they do! By the time we had packed everything up on the Sunday we tried to get onto the club stand but every tit had bloked it all up! Will try earlier next year when my car will hopefully be good enough lol

And that security guard called me a prick because i questioned him!! Was amazing night though! was all sticky afterwards from gettin drenched in all the drink though haha Wish i'd took some pictures! Not even one of my car lol

hello I've found the how to thread to smoke them, bit worried about putting them in the oven but did it work fine for everybody else? Part of the reason my car failed the MOT first time round was because the lights where angled the wrong way, so i'm a bit worried about doing it and puttin it all back together wrong? anybody have any problems with it? And just to double check it is legal? Thankyouu

I have quite impressive lines from my vest too! Lol i had a look at the cool air bit but i had no idea who you were so thought would be a bit wierd if i went up to some-one and said "do you have a lupo" lol

Well one of mine was leaking oil, when i put it in for MOT the bloke just replaced them with standard vw ones, and they're fine and i'm lowered quite a bit too

haha thankyou yes but they're silly expensive, nearly as much as the car lol
