I've heard of machine polishers but you can buy those and use them yourself, I've never heard of the term paint correction, thats what I'm saying fella. I suppose it can be a widely used term, if I'm off to wash and polish my car I could say I'm off to do some paint correction! But I'm not really up on my detailing I'm ashamed to say. Could do with some pointers really to get my car beaming like I see on a few of the other cars on here! I wash it regularly and polish it but it never seems to come up anywhere near as shiney as some!!

Hiya, welcome along! I dunno how it works in Latvia but in the UK we have haynes manuals which are produced for specific car makes and models. Unfortunately I dont think one for the lupo and its various models have been made. But if you can get hold of a copy of, or can find someone with, the ELSA software then you can use that for most common technical procedures for the VW range, including lupo, but it can be a bit limited for other stuff. Hope that helps.

The 1.8t is full of faults too but they're still a massively popular engine to stick in other bays. Am I missing something as when I posted he didn't mention anything about the engines being rubbish and faulty, just that he was bored of the power. Or has he posted summat similar in another thread? Either way if thats the case why not drop a loop gti in, that should surely be the easiest mod to do power plant wise.

welcome to the world of clublupo! If I were you mate I'd just look out for another sport engine, plenty about and you dont have to faff about with fabrication or any ecu/wiring mods.

yeah they do our rubbish now but we have nowt to do wiv them business wise. One of their old blokes works here now, mark english. But i've known him for years so he's ok!

when they went under they owed my garage tens of thousands of pounds and my company had to get rid of 4 of us to stay in business. Luckily they rang me up a few months later and took me back on when things picked up again.
