hi all, selling my lupo 1.4s 16v (yellow)8 months mot,1 months tax. 100k(just gone)will rise as this is my daily.full service history,full gearbox rebuild at 80k and clutch (recipets to prove) full timing belt kit replaced around the same time(again recipts to prove).dodgy 90s compomotives refurbed anthracite (curbing to dsf,rest are mint)with 4 very good tyres.electric windows,front fogs etc,nice stereo that matches the colour of the dash clocks.engine is strong and pulls very well. bad points : boths door checkstraps creaking,yellow interior could do with a wash as its a bit grubby, faded paint on a couple of the panels. overall been a great car since owning, but have the urge to go a little older so would consider px/swaps with a mk1/2 caddy, mk1 cab, or a realy clean modded mk3 modded polo. sale price £1500 PRICE DROP £1000 WILL LISTEN TO OFFERS AS HAVE A GTI LINED UP

had a bit of a race with mitch both coming back from essex on sunday,i say race i was trying to shake him and he was sat on my bumper (for around 40 miles at some pretty naughty speeds) can i just point out by the way i was in a brand new 10 plate 3.0tdi audi a4 not my lupo 1.4!!!!! pulled in and had a chat at the services and can i just say that car is AMAZING!!! well done on the trophys fella!

my point exactly,studied lau gar for 17 years,used it twice in confrontations,both had police involved,one ended up in court,so what do i do next time? whup some ass and go to prison?id rather walk away!

all depends on the judge,your solicitor any evidence and the case at hand.two lads jumped me as i was drawing money out of a cashpoint i fought back in self defence but was wearing my steelies as id just finished work,i broke one of there legs and slapped the other one about a bit.They went to the police and i ended up in court charged with assault!! luckily it was all on cctv and i have no previous so the case was thrown out.the fact that it went to court was the scary part for me and my family,these guys were known to the police for burgalry,shoplifting,assault and a list as long as my arm of other offences yet the minuite they go to the police im up in court! like scottie said,you dont know how you would react in that situation so theres no point in saying what would you do if? if i caught someone in my house i would prob make a lot of noise to get them out(im a big lad,got me sia badge and can dish it out if needs be) because the last thing you want is to be going off it like chuck norris and hurting someone so bad you end up doing time.same on the car, its a car at the end of the day and yeah people seem to take/do what they want to other people property nowadays but cracking someone over the head with a bar for nicking your stereo will prob end up bringing you a lot of grief you could do without!! anyway how sh*t were englant last night!

if waterpumps tend to fail,they either become noisy or collapse altogether(which would be very bad!!!) wack a tempsender in first (about 25 quid vag,or cheaper non gen)rule that out,then remove both hoses and stick a running hose pipe into the top hose you will then see if the rad is blocked by the flow out of the bottom of the rad.if you have had the thermostat replaced and the fan works when tested and have replaced the temp sender you may be looking at head gasket failure causing an airlock and not getting hot enuf to kick the fan in,this however is a worst case senario!!! hope this helps!
