  7. Thanks for the reply! I dont think it has a burnt oil smell to it as far as i can tell, there is a strong smell of petrol sometimes. If it is this how do i stop it from pumping unburnt fuel out of the exhaust? Failing that any idea of cost to replace head gasket/piston rings just to give me a rough idea? Parts/Labour
  8. A day or 2 after i clean my car the back gets really dirty and starts getting little black dots all over the boot, bumper and windscreen. After a while i can barely see out the back of the car. The car passed a recent mot. Should also mention the car is quite a heavy smoker when in traffic (white smoke). Is this just the way the exhaust is angled upwards? Anybody else experienced this problem? How to fix?
  9. yea cheers dan no the leads were just plugged in and i happend to notice it. how much did the coil pack set you back roughly?
  10. A few weeks ago my car developed a misfire so i got the spark plugs changed and it was sorted but it has come back, this made me think ignition leads. The car doesnt misfire all the time but it started doing it when i got home tonight so i looked under the bonnet and as the misfire was happening i could hear a click and see a spark coming from under the ignition lead to the rocker cover?? is this the cause of the misfire if so how do i stop it?

  16. Post man arrived yesterday and delivered these cannot wait to get them in as the ones on the car now are worn and i have heard great reviews about these so they should make a real difference after some consideration i took the advice of NFBR (thank you ) and got some new plates think they look much better before: after:
  17. lol thats good going that!! yea i might of seen that around blackwood, ive still got my old zetec s need to get it up for sale when ive got some time
  18. firstly i wet and dry sanded them down to get a good surface for the primer to go spent a good while doing this to get the best results. applied first coat of primer then sanded this back with a lighter grade of wet and dry. then a second coat of primer. i used matt black paint from b&q, 3 light coats of this dryng inbetween then polished them with car polish and a microfiber. dont know if this is right but it seemed to work for me, im sure people have other ways of doing it but hope it helps
  19. yeaa its still there he might park it around the back now tho, yea thats his brothers car. ahh yeaa it does i forgot about that hes got a set of race cams to go in soon aswell
  20. yea you probs have its a black zs from massy pritty low and very loud lol yea it really bugs me, new plates should be added soon just gotta decide if i want to go for german pressed or a more plain design
  21. haha £400 love it, is this just a direct swap with the standard or do you need to replace more things? do you have any maintenance issues with it?
  22. nice boot build really subtle didnt think you could get a sub in a lupo haha i think you need to get a set of those rims and mayby abit more with that theme would look the nutts!! then i could take the modernlines off your hands
  23. thanks the exhaust has since been polished up so looks so mcuh better than in the pic but eventually i would like to get a whole new full system but its not top of my list atm yea as said below just a flat head there is a grove at the bottom where you push the screw driver it and then just pop them off
  24. yea i gave it a real good clean for the pics there spent 6 hours doing it washed, clayed, polished, waxed plus interior. haha you spy right.. yeaa it would ruin the zs pulls on my mates 1.7 puma fiesta with mani, exhaust, induction and almost fully stripped
  25. yea sounds good man just hope i get to do what i want to my car before its eligible to show
