V6 clio - spins more than a dodgy disco dancer!
  8. In my weighing up of the hot hatch market i requested a Colt CZT brochure so i thought it would be rude not to get an Evo brochure at the same time........... Reading through the evo prattle, i noticed that the mitsi boffins have lightened the roof lowering the car's centre of gravity for better handling - so in theory, if you put the back seats down this would shift some (however small the amount) weight downwards, improving handling a degree or two......? just a theory...

  10. a good idea tim, but the legallity / morality / ethics maybe open to question.....! It must be something genetic that women automaticaly use the pram test to guage the size of a boot.............!
  11. i think the saxo wheels would look ok on the rosa's smooth lines - the slap in the face for the saxo boys is a bonus!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> But good idea all the same, if not mechanically viable.

  15. I know 'drive it like you stole it' is one of my many mottos - but on the test drive people were actually looking at me like i'd stolen it coz of the noise, and i was only doing about 40!! The only car i've actually told to SHHHHSSHHHHH! Granted, it was running a big-ass 'zaust! (which was weird, being a main dealer supplied motor)
  16. aahhh! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  17. cheers. but i thought the general rule was that small wheels are good for acceleration and big wheels are good for top speed............??
  18. tigz, it's not only people who can afford sports cars that don't like having people in the back!!! lol style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  19. ouch - low blow! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  20. win-win IMO - even if you have to get some made, the cost would be ofset by the price of the seats + you could get some nice shiny jobbies... but you should be able to find some...
  21. jj10

    ARSE!!!

Oh, its just that from what i've heard, insurance firms would actually kill to avoid paying out..........
