Just thought i would post to see if any locals would be travelling through to Kilmarnock Homebase next Saturday for Ayr's second organised cruise. The kick off is at 8pm but there will be high numbers in attendance so just a warning to get there a bit early to get parked up. The editor of Redline has confirmed sopme of their drew will be in attendance to cover the cruise. Is anyone else going?? Paddy + Kate? One litre wonder? Big John? Wee Ainz? Simon? The other guys who were at the Kaimes meet (sorry, cant remember names)?? PM me to let me know!

Finally got my Schmidt lips polished up. They look a treat!! I was over at P88 BELs earlier and saw his Porsche rims on his car. We put both cars in the sunshine = THEY ARE BLINGING!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> We are going to take more pics when he gets the rear shoe problem sorted out. They look sweet. The only problem is my tyres are rubbing at full lock. They are catching a tiny plastic cover inside the arch so im going to fit some 195x45x15s in a few weeks as im running 50s just now.

Just a note on an above post - P88BEL (Simon) has a GT TDI badge on the car as he is running a full nitrous system through his already remapped and highly tuned 1.4TDI engine. This thing is super fast. Just touched over 150BHP after the Garage finished with fitting the nitrous system. I never thought it would be possible, but the Garage are renound for making dreams come true!! Drop him a PM and he will tell you more! (The Garage = in Wishaw)

Simon (P88 BEL) took pics of our cars a few days ago. The wheels are away getting the polished lip done so i will pick them up tomorrow or Thursday. They are the same wheels as the above post and these bad boys look nuts on the car. Simons wanting a set as well but his rims are going to be ace when he gets them on. Watch this space for pics!!!

I picked up a set of 2nd hand of 15" deep dish Schmidt's last night from my gfs neighbour. Even though the edge of the rims are scuffed, i got them for a steal! They look perfect on the car and will look even better after the get the rims sorted in high polished silver! HOW CHUFFED AM I!!!!

Ian Big thanks to everybody, took myself my mate Steven and the trusty Lupo GTI, to my first meeting at Murk irk race track, we were made more than welcome, we met at the entrance to Strathclyde Park at 8am, after meeting everybody we then drove in convoy the short distance to the track, aprox 10 other Lupo / Arosa owners turned out, some very nice looking cars. I put GENERATION 3 LEXUS LIGHTS on my Lupo and i had the same problem! Water was leaking through the lights and soaking my boot! I changed back to Arosa lights and the problem has gone!

Right folks, are we setting up a BBQ at the track or what?!?! Craig, your idea was good for Loch Lomond! We will need to meet up around 715 so we can all leave around 730. Takes 40 - 50 minutes to get to the track from Hamilton (get there early so we can all park together). Is this time too early?
