  1. Hello! If I recall correctly, this could be caused by the two sheer bolts that hold the column to the mounting bar, I'm sure my 6N polo did this. All the tech here did was remove the two sheer bolts and replace them with two allen key bolts, never had any movement after that. I'd be surprised if it was the bearing, as I would have thought you would have movement in all directions....

  4. Couldn't wait til the weekend to share my ideas! So last week I bought 4x Porsche Teledials! 5X130 7J ET52.3. in black but not for long They have near new 165/50/15 Bridgestone Potenza's They also came with 4x100 adapters but they were a bit naff to be honest so i'll be buying new ones. I got such a good deal so I couldn't be happier really! PLAN: So my plan is to refurbish the wheels as 2 of them have some bad curb marks and others have a few little chips. I'm also going to change the colour as i'm not too keen on these wheels in black. I'm thinking of going for a polished colour or a very shiny silver. I began this morning by wet sanding the wheels until the paint turns flat. After this I'm going to sand and fill the curb marks.

  5. So this weekend I fitted my coilovers, took around 2-3 hours with a bit of fiddling with ride height. I'm pretty happy with how the car is sitting at the moment. Can't go any lower than it is on the front without tyres rubbing on the arches as i have 195/50/15's on a 6.5j rim. (Gives me an excuse to buy new wheels and tyres i guess) The rear will probably come down a bit this weekend and i'll get some more pictures up, just want to see how they settle this week More Pics: I'll try go out this week and use my proper camera to get some decent pictures instead of using an iPhone camera
