MartiniGTS
Hello everybody,I am from Slovenia and excuse my english...So I'm quite new to this forum (two months or less). I got my Arosa 1.0 1997 two months ago and it was my grandmas. She drives a Clio and I got Arosa. It is 17 years old but engine is in very good condition. Grandma did only about 46000 miles. It needed some love and so it started. This week it is in shop for some bodywork (front and back bumper, some rust repair and pro machine polish)Right sideLeft sideFront bumperWeek before I took off all badges and side bump stripsSide stripI bought some new tyres (PETLAS VELOX SPORT PT711 185/55/14)Bought Enzo Cup wheels that previous owner scratched on pavement...and they are being fixed...Then I had some fun with PlastiDip spraybut i figured out that PlatiDip isn't very good solution for handles because of touching and it starts peeling off on edges. So bought black laquer spray for plastic and now it is okay...I did speaker grill and vent with PlastiDip and for that it is okay because you don't touch it too often...After it comes from the shop it will get LOWTEC HiLOW 9.1 coilovers and brembo discs and pads...Coilovers are ordered and are coming from Germany...Few weeks ago some pro shop did my door speakers (Focal R-165S2) and a headunit (KENWOOD KMM-BT35).This is all for now...Plans for future:- oval speakers in the back (Focal probably)- lower the car...not too much, have to see how it seats on new wheels and tyres...- new brake drums...-i would like to get Ronal Turbo or ATS CUP wheels and Enzo Cup for winter...so a few new things that peaked my interest:- exchange interior and plate lights to LED,- exchange headlights to Philips H4 X-treme vision,- change to Cambridge lights ro just plain Lupo's,- paint calipers and drums... MartiniGTS
Thanks...I just hope it will last for another 40000miles. In Slovenia we can not do as many mods as people from UK but I will make it my own...

Keelan
I think the Mk1 front end looks a lot better smooth. A lot of gaps and lines etc...
MartiniGTS
Smooth means without the badge? I am going to try both and decide then...

MartiniGTS
Today me and my father made a shelf for the back speakers and I bought Hertz ECX 690 oval speakers. Just need to make holes for speakers and take it to upholstery store.

MartiniGTS
Slovenia has very stable weather not like UK...if anybody is interested Slovenia is very beautiful small country for vacation, in 3 hours of driving you can be on a sea coast or on 2,864 metres highest mountain in our small country...really cheap country to visit form UK...and of course a lot of wine and beer...
