why? excuse my ignorance, as on the lupo there would be nothing to secure a front mount to. geoff

still don't know what you mean, daughter has a lupo and her boyfriend has the golf gti so I can't work out where the front mount thing comes from as both cars have a dogbone fix to the crossmember. as I remember it was only the first generation engines that had the front fix which mounted near the starter / to the front crossmember, or is it the old engine you're using . I'm thinking of the mk4 gti by the way. geoff

O like the mk2 golfs etc , most people refer as a front mount for a cooler sorry . You mean a front engine mount yes this has been done Afew times so has the mounts to subframe like the golfs again . I will see if have I can find a image of this to help so It can be done.
