mk 4 golf. but there is no wiring for your new mirrors, I would suggest taking the wiring from the centre light. it means taking down your headlining, but as you're taking out your carpet as well it shouldn't be too much extra work.

I want to do the carpet if it's not going to take too long to do. Not sure what's entailed yet haha, might do the headliner while I'm at it.

Wouldn't it have been good if the lupo was a miniature Mk4. Arm rest and all

there are a lot of similarities with the mk4, it's just finding them that's the problem

Like the newer lupo dash use similar switches, connections and wiring eg. heated seats

Would the mirrors run independently to the interior light (I am sure it would when wired in right)

What sort of loss do you reckon there will be for light when all are on?

I can't see any problems with splitting the live from the centre light, the lights turn on when you open them anyway. if the power consumption worries you then fit led bulbs to all of them, simples! geoff
