Spartan535
Has anybody ever manage to install a Double Din Unit in a Mk1 Arosa. For you Lupo boys who have it easy, although the Arosa has a "triple DIN" space in the dash, VW (mine was built in Wolfsburg) have rather inconveniently put the heater control in the middle and there is no obvious way of moving it without major cable surgery! Skezza
If cable hacking is the only thing you need to do, then hack away boy!! We have solder and crimps for a reason!
Spartan535
If it were just the electrical cables yes, but just not brave enough to butcher the heater control cables - previous owner had already butchered the centre console to the fit something in the glove box which then caught fire - at which point he gave up. Ended up replacing most of the dash - they also seem to believed that colour coding looked better with fingerprints embedded - and wiring - and the heater cables where the only bits that survived! stator
Fit the entire lupo dash It would take great skill to make it look anywhere near decent on a mk 1 Arosa, given the hacksawing you'd have to do.
