Defcon5
Buy them from Eurocarparts, just go for the decent stuff and NGK plugs. Should be less than £60

Defcon5
Cheaper to order it online with one of the many 25% discount codes. Google and find one off a forum, I think vagocuk25 still works
tifukwizat
No discount codes are working as the sale is still on =(
danoid
Just do the service yourself, it's relatively easy on the 1.0.The only problem I had was trying to take off the sodden oil filter.I'd try to stick with genuine parts if you can, so checkout GSF Premium (I think they call their oem)Sparks are the NGK ones, then genuine oil filter, new sump plug, air filters and possibly fuel filter if your up for it.

GeoffD
I always use euro for parts just make sure that you insist on oem parts when you order. vw are a joke.
