RobG
Assuming the tdi is a similar cost to the 1.4 sport, if you use a main dealer around 350, if you use an independant then less. It's worthwhile getting the water pump changed when you get the cam belt done. The dealer change i had done was by Inch VW in Bathgate, they were a bit cheaper than Advantage in stirling. Last change was done by my local mechanic. Got it all done for a very very good price. Honestly couldn't be happier with the service from SVS in Dundee. At least I know I have a great specialist on my doorstep.
Silver!
I paid just shy of £400 for my 1.0 Arosa which included the annual service and MOT (Pass) at my local VW Specialist. I'm due a change on the GTI, but I think he charged me £500 for the last time including a service.

I got the cambelt etc done for £240 using OEM parts! He didn't change the oil but still I thought it was reasonable. I could change the oil myself anyways. I use servicingstop for mot's atm its £19.
