loopykko
Hi, can someone please please help....my son bought a VW Lupo 51 plate and when we accelerate up through the gears you can feel it vibrating through the wheels.we thought it maybe the drive shaft but we checked them and all sound.we have ahd all 4 wheels balanced and swopt form front to back and again...so we have now just fitted brand new whishbones but we still have the vibration.when fitting the whishbone the section that had the bolt going upright was a lot smaller than the hole it was going through - we thought that wa svery weird but it was juts like the original.what else can it be..?as i am now lost! Thanks - a grief stricken father of a frustrated nearly 17 year old

loopykko
I dont think i have oem wheels, just steels with wheel trims?will have a look at the rod ends and steering rack, anything in particular to look out for? Also after we have just fitted the two new wish bones to the car, the steering has become VERY light, it was light before and has seemed to become worse?any answers/suggestions on this? Thanks! danoid
It's probably just a weight missing on the wheels. Could take them off and check for the lead weights, but might be worth getting them re-balanced
loopykko
We've had the wheels balanced twice now, has helped a little, but can still feel vibration/wobble through the steering and pasenger footwell partially. The main problem seems to be the feel/handling of the car, very rocky, feeling like you can tip the car when going round the corner. even pushing down on the front side of the car it bounces several times! We are getting the tracking rods done saturday and working from there.Any other suggestions will be a great help. Thanks
