dalef1992 Posted August 7, 2013 Report Share Posted August 7, 2013 not unless you want to pay twice for the banded steels coz no doubt your insurance will go up more then they are worth. and in result of an accident and if the insurance check the car which they most likely wouldn't unless it's caused death or serious injury just play stupid and claim they was on the car when you bought it (unless bought brand new from vw ) and you just fort they was standard steels unless they are 10j like mine hahaha Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mattz341 Posted August 7, 2013 Report Share Posted August 7, 2013 Do a quote on a comparison website with all your details etc and then do it again with the mod, it'll show a rough guide how much your insurance will go up! It'll probably just be classed as "non standard wheelsl or "wider wheels".
