Samanferr10
I replaced my gearbox and clutch recently as I was having problems, but even now it's difficult to select a gear it seems like it's taking a lot more effort than it should.. What could it be other than the gearbox and clutch as they a both brand new ? Thanks
Pete
Linkages possibly need adjusting?
Little Green Giant
linkages and oil? both will make a massive difference
Samanferr10
Tipped up the oil and adjusted the linkages does feel better but still not right it's so annoying, it's not smooth at all and when it's in gear I can feel the gear knob jumping about, it doesn't jump out of gear but moves back and forth

Little Green Giant
oh yeah hahaclutch fitted not quite right? id put it down to linkage tbh. did you have to take the selector off to fit the box? did you put it back on in the right position? mine was playing up so i took the selector off and moved it literally 1 spline to the right and it was perfect!
