VR6 Posted April 21, 2013 Report Share Posted April 21, 2013 I picked up the Lupo today, I've not had so much fun in a car since my Mk2 Golf days. A few things need sorting but the main problem is the drivers side window comes half way up and slowly grinds to a halt. I did manage to get it to close again after a frustrating five minutes. Do I need a new regulator, motor or both. Also where can I get one if needed, and roughly how much am I looking at to purchase one?Thanks. Pete91 Posted April 21, 2013 Report Share Posted April 21, 2013 I have the same problem but it's the white clips that regulate the movement of the window that have become misaligned. Worth checking before buying anything as it's free to fix. Take off the lower and upper door card and look for the two white clips with bolts on them. Loosen the bolts and realign the window.
