Hello, can anyone confirm for me that the wishbones are the same across the range? I'm looking for some wishbones for my GTI and have found some non GTI ones, I'm told they all have the same part number. Thanks.

All sorted now after a new alternator, tensioner, belt and battrey, and the best bit is it only cost me £35 excess! I highly recommend AA parts and labour cover, the best £80 a year I spend without a doubt.

Thanks Silver. The battery hasn't gone flat yet but it hasn't been driven in the dark so I doubt it would. I'll wait for it to die and claim on my AA parts and labour cover as I've never used it and have been paying for it for years lol

Hi, I've not been on here much because the Loop has been so reliable, but yesterday it started idling fast, and today the battery light is on. I'm guessing the alternator is on its way out or something, but would that cause the fast idle? It idles at about 1200 rpm once warm. Any ideas? Thanks.

Nope. It said service oil, so I took it for an oil service, now its saying service oil again. I'm not bothered, it can't be much, just thought it was pretty strange thats all.

It was serviced at 87k, its now on 88k.

I'm glad you appreciate it mate. I put it on Talk Photography and it got slated for "having no point to it" and being "just a load of clutter in a van". Bunch of miserable bas*ards!

No mate, I had it serviced about 3 weeks ago and the service indicator was definitely reset at the service.

Thats the point, he did rest it, its just come back on and I've only covered 1k.

Yep definitely agree on the Bathursts. Are they Lenso BSX? If they are I had a set, they made my car handle like shite because they weigh a ton. Edit: Just saw they changed their mind, thats crap. Who's doing it now?
