Right guys I've just replaced my seized fk g1 coilovers with JOM coilovers ...I've put everything the same as its come off but on the drivers side it knocks when I turn left over a bump , sounds like its coming from the top mount but that's tight .. Any solutions ? And yes I know the coilovers are budget ones lol

Could just be too low compared to the FKs, I found the JOMs sag quite a lot, specially with the added weight of the driver on that side.

Check for any marks on the offside drive shaft or the under the chassis as I found them to hit here even before the shock bottoms out on very low settings.

(I've had to raise mine 4 times in the last couple of months as they settled. the JOMs do seem to be quite a bit poorer quality compared to any other premium brand I've used)

Sounds like driveshaft could be hitting the chassis leg? The OS driveshaft sits closer to the chassis leg than the NS. Turning left leans the car over to the right .. bringing the two closer together. Then hitting the bump could be enough to make them contact. Turn the wheels right as far as they can go and look up between the wheel and the arch, you should be able to see wear marks on the driveshaft or chassis leg if they've been hitting.

No worries mate. After I posted i noticed RS6plus has already mentioned it haha.

Either raise it up a bit, raise the engine (won't help too much) or chassis notch (technically a structural modification and if VOSA found it would tear you a new one).

I diddnt notice he had wrote the same thing lol , chassis notching is too much effort I've raised it 10 ml and it seems to be ok (with only me in the car)
