Removing and cleaning brake reservoir

Alright all...just a quick question as to how to remove the brake reservoir and clean it as I'm currently changing the brake fluid in my gti and the reservoir is black with poop...here's a photo of the dirtEA62AF86-690A-4F4B-A268-5F33E0D45C17-198-000000847E695E56.jpg

Why on earth would you do that??? Just suck the old fluid out of the res, replace with new fluid, the bleed your brakes, simple! The res is sealed to the master cylinder so dont try to remove it!

Honestly, dont use anything to clean it, its just the reservoir! Its the fluid in the lines that are important! Just flush with clean fluid and away you go

Thanks fit the response guys...the only reason I wanted to clean it is because the dark Line you see on the resiviour is dirt....I can't see properly how much fluid is in there....I think I will leave it as I know that it can be abit costly if I f**k it up cheers Leighton
