Stephen Posted April 6, 2005 Report Share Posted April 6, 2005 Club GTI`s Scottish national day is on Sunday the 26th of June at Kames motorpark circuit in MUIRKIRK east Ayrshire. There is show and shine some trader`s and a race track, it`s quite a twisty track and your on it yourself against the clock 3 laps a time as many times as you want. I`ve spoke to the organiser and he said if we give him a rough number we can get a space at the front for a club stand. Ive been going for years, had a couple of car in the show n shine and been on the track a few times. Its a great laugh my brother got his picture in the Golf mag. going round the track lifting the inside wheel in his mk2 16v golf. Its quite easy to get there off at junction 11of the M74( if your going south 12 if your going north) and head for Muirkirk even the road there (A70) is brilliant.
