Blaine
what route have people gone for with the power cable, from the battery through the car (non gti) to the boot?thanks Blaine
JoeA
i found a little hole big enough for 8 gauge wiring just behind the brake lines on the passenger side of the bulk head. Fed it through there and it comes out at the top of the passenger footwell. Then remove the panel in the corner (the blank one which is the same as the one on the drivers side with the bonnet release on). Next, remove the strip along the sill, you will then be able to run the wire behind the corner panel (use some cable ties if need be) and then behind the sill parts. You will see existing wiring clipped in so i just used those clips which work great its then pretty self explanatory and your wires should go easy up into the boot. JoeA
Ive labelled my sub wire and the hole, as said, i didn't make that hole, it was already there, it didn't look drilled though so it seems to be an original feature on mine. FishKracker
I am looking at the same problem, was anything found to be connected to that bolt? I really don't want to drill my car to **** as I'll undoubtedly mess it up.
