many thanks although my engine bay is different i have the abs unit in the way and where your cable goes through i have a big fat wiring loom??? thinking of running the power lead underneath the car and coming up through the boot itself???

hi guys and gals, im having a nightmare trying to find a route for my main 12v power supply, obviously from the battery under the bonnet to the boot where the amp and sub will hopefully live just wondered if anyone knows the easiest/quickest way of doing this because i cant seem to find a way without stripping out the whole dashboard getting very frustrated any any advice would be most welcome many thanks

just checked both of mine and there the same, normal although i dont like the idea of oily air being sucked into the throttle body?????? could a crankcase breather filter/ catch tank be fitted????

hi i have heard about motorcycle airboxes being modded eg just a bigger hole cut out to increase the air flow and wondered if any one with a lup had done it????? rather than an induction kit???? would obviously use a hiflow panel filter eg pipercross etc..... any ideas????

as far as door locks and window switches go they seem to be a common fault, both my lupos have needed new window switches and lock repair kits lock kit is around 7 quid on fleabay, hardest part is actually fitting it (search for guide on you tube) but my mechanic took 30 seconds lol window switches are simple enough to fit. hope this helps in some way??? but very common and easy to fix faults same as bleeeding brakes, either individually or the whole system!!!

hi guys i want to lose the cat converter on my 1.4s, i have looked on ebay and seen stainless manifolds claiming its a decat blah blah...... i thought the cat was somewhere in the pipe section???? im very confused ( doesnt take much lol) and i have also seen on flea bay a decat by-pass pipe for around £20?? very confused??????? ps not worried about the mot

many thanks, it is an autel maxscan vag405. so would the throttle position actuator v60 be controlled by the ecu??? sorry for my lack of knoweledge would the ecu be easy to change myself???? many thanks for your kind help

hi guys both of my lupos 1.4s have started to run really crap on first startup after a few seconds all seems ok?!!! i connected my vagcom thingy and code 036906034AT came up, component MARELLI 4LV ??? any ideas what this component is?? another code thing iS KWP1281 throttle position actuator (V60) static- output open ???? to be honest its all double dutch to me so any advice would be well received also im reasonably handy with a spanner lol so is this easy enough to do??? thanks chaps

on my bandit it had a massive airbox with a small intake opening yes was very restrictive

ok daft question but are these the same enines?? and is it a "simple" case of just swapping engine and box or is it more involved on the electrical side ,like ECU etc.... ford escorts were so much simpler lol

hi folks i am thinking of putting a k@n induction kit on 1 of my lupos 1.4 100bhp, question is will it affect the fueling?? when i did the same to 1 of my bikes i had to fit larger jets as it would run too lean any advice would be great
