Slicknick Posted April 4, 2005 Report Share Posted April 4, 2005 Morning all,It’s that time of year again when the Loop goes in for the annual service rang my local VW dealer got quoted on a price of £288.00 for the 20000 mile service but they couldn’t fit me in for another 3 weeks, thought it was a tad expensive and a pain but you have to have it done so I thought I would just have to swallow the price and time.Just out of interest I checked to see if there were any independent VW peeps in my local area, as my Loop is no longer under warranty I managed to find a garage, just called them, got the loop booked in for Friday at a cost of wait for it £160.00 woot.I expect it to be a tad more as there are a few things that need sorting.Still I reckon that’s is a dame good price.The garage is in Charlton Southeast London the web address is as follows:http://www.iatn.net/dir/page/index.aspx?m=72656&t=bAs far as I know there are no Clublupo folk in my area but I thought I would post the link to the garage anyway as there prices seem so good.Plus my Loop must be one of the lowest mileage GTI’s around it’s a 02 plate with 18,156 on the clock…I just don’t drive that much!CheersSlick Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just depends whether you want to keep a full VW service history i suppose. I'm another low mileage one, 2700 and mine's coming up to a year old soon!
