booble
HiI am fitting some 15 inch wheels, with 37 Offset and 7J width. Currently it has 195/50/R15s on.The Lupo is standard and not lowered (yet). If I was to replace the tyres what would be a safe bet to minimise tyre rub on this size alloy?Would it go to 175/45 without tyre stretch? or Would 185s do the trick? The general feedback I've had so far is that 195/50s will likely incur tyre rub.Any advice will be much appreciated (as always).ThanksMatt
Philplop
I'd say 195/45 would be fine. Edited March 3, 2012 by Philplop
Deadmetal
195/45s are best for 7j and give a straight sidewall.
booble
cheers chaps. I'm hoping to buy some springs initially (as coilovers little out of my reach for now) to lower to 40mm which is fine to start with. hopefully the 195/45s will fit snug with no rub.thanks again.
