Indicators in to the fogs

Has anybody put the front indicators where the front fogs normally are?

i want to do it but don't know how to start

any help would be great.

I was planning on doing this and smoothing my indicator panel out... It is possible...but I dont think its legal as they will be to far down for other drivers to see.

Thats the idea to smooth the indicator panel.

I don't think there is a law on height just you have to be able to see them from the back, side & front.

its not that its illegal its just that you wont be able to see the indicators properly when your headlights are on, because the GTI headlights are split with main beam on top and indicators below

people that have done it have used the fog light spot for their indicators, a few people that have done it use LEDs behind the grill so you cant see them when theyre off which looks best IMO

dont know if theres any kind of limit on height from the ground but my rados indicators are well below knee height at the current ride height so Im guessing there isnt a limit...

Thats what i mean :thumbsup:

Need to know how to do it i'm not bother about the fogs or the holes in the indicator panel for the minute i just want to set it up ready for when i have the panel smoothed
