Blaine Posted February 24, 2012 Report Share Posted February 24, 2012 I would expect it is designed to use standard oil i agree, as the LSD will be put inside the alraedy excisting gearbox? which is designed to use the oil VW recommend,therefore the LSD will have been desined to work with the same oil to avoid compromising the rest of the box internals.
