MickB
Hello All!I was just wondering if anyone have noticed if you have only one (driver's side only) working rear fog light or on both sides of the back of your Lupos?Currently I've installed a bulb on the passanger side (there was an empty space before which I wasn't aware of) but it's not working. So maybe this is the place for a Christmas tree lights' bulb - not the fog light bulb? :-)Please advise.:-)Cheers!
Ashh
Only fitted with drivers side as only one is required
Derv
Just add a new pin in the connector, and splice a new wire on the other side. There is a void inside the rear panel where you can run the cable. That's what I did when I first got my Lupo. You can either get new pins with a short length of cable attached from VAG, which you will need to lengthen.Or you can get new pins from VWP. But you will need a crimp tool. Edited February 20, 2012 by Derv
MickB
:-) Thank you Ashh. I'm much calmer now... though still don't quite understand what is this unused empty bulb space on passanger's side for...

RobG
:-) Thank you Ashh. I'm much calmer now... though still don't quite understand what is this unused empty bulb space on passanger's side for...So they don't need to make a different set of bulbs and holders for left hand drive european cars, they just wire it differently. My pug was the same, only had a bulb on the driver's side, but it did have the wiring in place for a second one, so you could just fit a bulb if you so desired. Derv
Exactly. The lights and clusters are made the same, LHD and RHD to cut costs.
