MrSloanes
Well I changed my door speakers today, drivers side went fine =Passenger side not so good, after connecting everything up I noticed the passenger side one doesn't work, so I popped the old one back in to see and that doesn't work either, now I'm OK at wiring speakers etc but haven't a clue where to start at running new speaker wire from head unit to the speaker as an not sure which wires I need to hook my new one up to. Any help please?
puggled
Is it a VW headunit or an aftermarket one? The VW ones have a handy wiring diagram sticker.

puggled
I read your post as you not knowing what wires you needed, if you have the wiring diagram then it'd help? Or did I pick it up wrong.
MrSloanes
Basically I need to figure out which wire is for front left so I can cut it from head unit and change for a new wire as there must be a problem with it.

HalfOfZero
Hate to be a crazy thread resurector... But how'd it go? This mad "hurricane" we had here caused me some problems.. Wind caught the door, ever since my aftermarket speakers seemed to crackle. Tonight on the way home, the drivers side door speaker kindda crackled, then just died. Broken connection perhaps? RobG
Possible, under the rubber door connector, the cables just clip in, so possible it's become unclipped.
