it will be fine, build the box right and it will drop, make a piss poor attempt at the box just making it to the space you have available then yes you will need to go up to a 10 or 12 but that is not bass that is just thump. for the past 10 years ive run a diamond audio dualVC 8"for years and it was tuned to 32htz and prior to that since 1993 i ran a pair of alpine 6082 8" subs in an isobaric chamber tuned to 30htz. so there you go nearly 20 years of competition running just 8's its all down to 80% installation and 20% speaker qualty/cone size. im now running a pair of 6's that will be tuned to 45htz but then again im a SQ freak not a bass racer but will still sound better than any piss poor installed 10's or 12's. when it arrives look at all the specs and go online and use a box size calculator and build the box correctly and sound deaden the area and it will sound amazing

hey H, just realised i used to work an hour from you up in Bergen. worked for PGS Resevior and Exploration, Tied up alongside in Leirvik a couple of times but mainly ran from Bergen and Kristiansund. hmmmmm, these look quite cool. how do they fit??? on polo 14" rims i mean. would i need anything else to secure them? i was going to get a set from ebay but wasnt sure on the fitting and they were only £20 but the seller was a bit.... how do i say..... dodgy??? and they werent polished either so i think 35 is quite fair considering mint ones are 80 odd quid interested in px for some audio stuff or is it cash/paypal ect

OMG, i was moaning when mine was almost £200 for the year because my range rover was only £139!!! so i suppose my only advice is get older by 2.5 times your current age and it will come down. not much help am i
