BBS LEGEND/GENIUS

Just a quick one folks.

I am absolutely buzzing my tits off with my BBS RM's, that arrived back today after having been sent away to be rebuilt.

They are an original set of Golf G60 15 RM's that I have had rebuilt to an exceptional standard by Mike the Polisher.

For those of you that don't know, this guy does amazing work & I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone who is serious about anything that is polished in particular their BBS splits.

He does a lot of work for Edition 38

Many on here already know of him but some of you won't.

Those of you that know me will know I have very high standards & Mike ticks the box on all of these so without a shadow of a doubt if you have BBS rims & want the best then go see the Polisher, that's my advice.

If you want more info etc just drop me a pm & happy to pass on details

Regards

Gary

Send some to me and i'll upload them, that or i'll come up and have a look :D

Cheers James just sent some pics of before, arrival & 1 built up.

Sadly I am flat out repairing the mechatronic brain in my dsg gearbox.

This is one of the worst & hardest jobs for anyone with a DSG system.

Me & my mate are tackling this first thing Saturday as I should be at an all weekend Audi TT gathering national event & show with my club but am having to try & repair my car on Saturday with a wedding to go to Saturday night & then come hell or high water I am going to the show on Sunday near Derbyshire as have tickets & two of my mates are in the National concours competition.

I might have to go in the Loop but only TT's are allowed into the event, so would be relegated to the public car park, club rules  .

Hopefully God will be on my side & TT will roar again, hell you might even hear it as in Chorley as we are repairing the beast in Whittle le Woods.

When the 3.2 V6 fires up & the Milltek kicks in it sounds like thunder.

Either that or you will hear a lot of cursing & swearing as well as threats of violence towards the car as new the part costs £1800.00 alone from Audi.

I have had mine reconditioned by a specialist & we are doing the removal & installation ourselves but the bill is enough to make most Lupo owners arses go.

But that's the price you pay for driving a car like this so you have to take it on the chin, keep your fingers crossed & thanks for the help.

Much appreciated

Gary ;)

Had them for a while been collecting bits.

Fitted em to my Gti but didn't set my world on fire, compared to RH Cups I have, as you know like the euro look on my modded Gti.

Might bang em on wifes Gti for next summer just to ring the changes.

Soon be time for winters though so back to bathursts all round.

I might be in minority but I do like the Bathurst wheels & think they still look very right on a Gti.

Lord knows i have cocked about with loads of wheels must have had 15 different sets/styles before whittling it down to 3 sets Bathursts 2 sets RH Cups & my RM's

Always nice to have a few sets of tidy wheels for whatever mood I'm in usually ring the changes each year so next season will be BBS time & keep RH cups tucked away.

Must crack on just having a brew, it's a Northern thing

Cheers James

G :coffee:
