Zoe(:
Hi, i've just bought my lupo 1.4 auto and its mostly all good.My central locking isn't working properly though. It will only lock the drivers door and not both as it should. Also the lock and unlock buttons on the inside of the drivers door are not working.I've not tried anything yet as i'm not too sure on what i'm doing.Any help or advise? Thanks

jabbles21
Unless someone offers you some better advice, it might be worth getting it on VAGCOM. I don't know if VAGCOM picks up these kinds of faults but it might be worth a try.Other than that, check all the fuses are where they should be, take the passenger doorcard off (if you know what your doing cos it can be a pain to get them off without breaking the clips) and check the motor/actuator on the passenger side. Other than that, try a garage or car security specialist that might know straight away what the problem could be.Good luck! Jake.

Deadmetal
I get this intermitently. If you have electric windows try this, it worked for me, unplug the battery, leave it for a while, re-connect it and use the window reset, engine on, open windows fully, keep the switch down for a couple of seconds and then close fully, keeping the switch up for a couple of seconds. This worked for me and the central locking and inboard locks are working as they should atm.I have no idea why the window reset worked for me though. marky-boi
problem solved, turned out to be a sticky drivers door lock. i removed it, refurbished it and now the central locking and electric windows work just as they should
