  7. ebay reference 290647408347 car must sell before xmas
  8. great advice, thanks. will re post if this works. i have noticed the passanger window is sticky when closing also so may have something to do with it??!
  9. hi all, i have currently got my lupo s up for auction on ebay and have a central locking issue to fix before the car sells. the central locking is done on the key on the drivers side lock. unlocking the car works, it will unlock the passanger door and boot fine, sometimes it will cause the windows to go down on which is very annoying. for some reason only the drivers door will lock when i turn the key and i have to lock passanger door and boot manually. i basically need to know where to look first, driver side lock or passanger also is this a common fault with the lupo. the car is a 1999 lupo s and i believe it is factory fitted central locking. fast reply will be much appreciated as again, the car is currently up for sale. many thanks.
  10. hi, i have lupo s with the exact same fault. sometimes my windows open when unlocking. did you ever manage to resolve this issue? i am selling the car in two days time and need to know if it needs a new lock.
  11. anyone who owns a 1.4 s AHW, i need someone to check something for me, it would be much apreciated. from the egr valve there is the vacume pipe which goes up to 'the exhuast gas recirculation solenoid valve' at the end of the camshaft carrier. from the solenoid valve there is another vacume pipe, off the bottom, which i pressume would go to somewhere on the intake, possibly air box/throttle body; however it is missing on my car. please could you point me in the right direction.
  12. ok i was slightly wrong, from the egr valve theres the vacume pipe which goes up to 'the exhiast gas recirculation solenoid valve' at the end of the camshaft carrier. from the bottom of this valve is supposed to be another pipe, im pressuming its supposed to be connected to the intake somewhere but i have no idea. the manual is not clear. i can send a pic via email
  13. some types of engine flush require you to drive the car about for a day or two before emptying it out. maybe try this type and give it a bit of thrashing?? im sure oil is supposed to go through the switch
  14. i will have to double check the timing this weekend then, i think the copper gasket sealing will be the best next step before buying a new throttle body. do you have any idea on the missing pipe lol, may have to check the manual. thanks for the advice and i will let you know how it goes
