Ashh
Non-airbag model could refer to the new wheel your fitting i guess? Not sure though
Watercooled_Vixen
I 'think' it means the earlier model like the 90's ones without airbags, could email the seller and ask tho. Good find btw! Edited March 4, 2011 by Watercooled_Vixen
JoshLoop
Just means if you have an airbag in your car just now, if you put that boss on the airbag light will be on. If you get a boss for use with an airbag, it has a cable attached to the boss that plugs into the airbag cable that comes from the car, completing the circuit so your airbag light stays off and the circuit is still complete.Basically if you have an airbag now, get an airbag boss, if you dont get a non airbag boss.Hope that makes sense? gameoner
as above, but its a resistor not a cable. Thus making the car think the airbag is still connected. VW apparently sell this resistor as do Momo, that will allow you to fit a non air bag boss and keep the airbag light off. the actual boss itself is no different. If i can find where i saved the vw part no. i'll post it up. HTH
JoshLoop
I knew there was name for it, just looks like a cable and couldnt think what it was called!
