Kev_Ush
Wots every1's best 1/4 mile times? I managed 15.4 secs from a standard GTI, I was havin trouble gettin grip at the start. My mate only only managed 16.5 from his polo GTI. I would have thought the lupo and polo GTIs would have alot closer down the 1/4 mile. EssexLoop
are u sure there mate, the best time from the weekend was 16.017 or something for a standard Gti, i couldnt see u getting a 15.4 unless ur names schumacher

gargoil
Maybe Crail's track is down a big hill!U got a 5 or a 6 speed Kev?
Kev_Ush
6 speed, No big hills at crail. i did have a K&N on it for a bit but i sold it to my mate with the polo GTI cos it slowed my car down and made it run like *****. Maybe lupos up north are just quicker.
gargoil
U're still quite a bit south of me but I've never had it on a drag strip! I'd probably stall it several times and cross the line about 3 minutes later! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

gargoil
I live on the Isle of Arran which is South I suppose but I have a house in Aviemore as well, so as my Lupo is in Arran most of the time I suppose it is a "Southern slow" Lupo! gargoil
Think most of the Scottish Lupo people on this forum are from Eastern/North Eastern area!
Kev_Ush
i'm near aberdeen and i know crusoe lives down the road from aberdeen sumwhere, don't know about any other northern lupo owners tho. If there are a few of us we should all sort out a meet at crail sumtime.
bossjohnc
Blimey! 15.4 - don't think I could do that meself, certainly not at the Pod - perhaps one of them is inaccurate?Recon I could get it under 16, but it's not easy... no way I could get 15.4 though. twisty b-road
15.999 would do nicely at Pod

Show these Southern boys how to do it! I've got an Evo as well that I've got running about `310-320Bhp` which I would probably bring rather than the Loop though"
Rossa
I've seen that website a few times and i'm not sure it's right.polo GTI (125bhp) - 18 seconds?Suzuki Ignis 1.3 GL (85bhp) - 17.8 ?Toyota Yaris `T-Sport` (105bhp) - 18.9 secs... they also added 1.9secs to the `0-60` = 10.9 instead of 9.0.Toyota Yaris 1.3 CDX (85bhp) - 18.0 secs... `0-60` = 11.5.Gotta be something up with that..... :sus:

Kev_Ush
If i was to hold it any more than 2000rpm before i pinged the cluch it would just sit spin off the the line. I'm just going by wot my print out said and by wot beat
twisty b-road
Was chatting to Fin bout this, his mate on Sunday in the 206cc was doing 18 sec runs, did 16.3 at Crail last year
