  1. I've seen that website a few times and i'm not sure it's right. polo GTI (125bhp) - 18 seconds? Suzuki Ignis 1.3 GL (85bhp) - 17.8 ? Toyota Yaris `T-Sport` (105bhp) - 18.9 secs... they also added 1.9secs to the `0-60` = 10.9 instead of 9.0. Toyota Yaris 1.3 CDX (85bhp) - 18.0 secs... `0-60` = 11.5. Gotta be something up with that..... :sus:
  2. How shameful is that Arosa turbo, it's gotta be 150bhp of wheelspin! Did anyone off here in an arosa get a time?
  3. Matt, have you got any pics of the cold air feed?

    Heat shield

    Nice one, thanks mate style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  5. Not sure to be honest mate, i've just got the original one still there at the moment. The only place i can see a good one working was to make a hole in the metal behind the grill - not sure if it's the same on the lupo.
  6. It's never the taking part that counts ....only the winning. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Another one to watch in your sport is the MG ZR 105 (1.4i ) ?? - not sure what it's called . Had a blast with one through MK it was like we were attached at the hip, i think both of us were only giving aways a couple of feet everytime each of us changed gear. Went for a good few miles over the roundabouts before i had to turn off, both gave each other a nervous brake fade smile before going our seperate ways. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />p
  7. Yeah had a few go's with them, a bloke who works in the same building has one he drives pretty rapid. Normally have to push my sport a bit to catch him, never really know if he's redlining it or not though? ???

    Heat shield

Got a pipercross induction kit fitted to my sport at the moment but haven't got round to solving the problem of it sucking in hot air from the bay. Obviously a few cold air feeds wouldn't go a miss but is there a heat shield that can be bought to go directly under the kit? If not what material would you suggest i get my mitts on? Will this cause any damage by almost sectioning off the foam filter and it sitting on a plate of some sort? Andy
  9. I've got a red arosa sport 16v, no mods other than a piper x induction kit and some alloys in the shed :sigh: Nice motor SEAT TDI - well smart, what sort of insurance group does it put you into with mods? Do you still get decent fuel consumption after tuning, i'm thinking of changing over to diesel in the near future.

    Stopping distance

Does anyone know the stopping distance for the Arosa/lupo sport and the SEAT range? And what difference uprated brakes make to this?
  11. Anyone know a good place to get stuff for arosa's ....seems no sites i've looked at have anything for me! Only saxo's etc. I'm looking for a set of grooved pagid disks and pads for my arosa 1.4 16v so if you could put your feelers out it would be mucho appriciated style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

No probs mate, still hasn't turned up yet....should be either today or tomorrow so i'll send em over as soon as it's up and running! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

    K&N for a arosa?

    That sounds well sweet mate! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

    K&N for a arosa?

Bought the pipercross last night for the simple fact it's louder!! £71.99 well spend i hope. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> ....should have it on by this weekend.

    K&N for a arosa?

Thanks again for the reply mate, think i'm gonna go for the pipercross. The sound would be the main reason for getting it and more power would be an added extra. Matt - have you got any pictures of your BMC one?
