jabbles21
Quick word of advice which may be simply common sense to some people.Just lowered my car, and of course that involved a call to insurance. I was originally given a quote of £85 extra on the premium per year, inclding a £17.50 administration cost. I said 'Is that the best price you can do, as I would like to remain insured with you and had hoped to pay less than that' 30 seconds later the quote had magically gone down to £45 per year extra on my premium including the administration charge.Just wish I had done this when paying for the original insurance! Moral of the story - don't accept the first price you're given, worst that can happen is they'll say no!Hope this helps some people!Jake. Bickerton
My tip is to find an insurer that only increases the premium for performance mods
jabbles21
Oh yeah - that first. But if you're 17 when no performance insurers will even consider insuring you and have no way of suddenly being 25 then this will have to do.And I didn't just mean with suspension... Suspension was just my example
DubLass
I asked if it was the best price when I got my Gti insured. I got nowhere. I think it's better if you end up speakingwith someone whose been there for a while or a supervisor/manager.
