Air Bag Light

Hey,

OK... I removed a fuse (cant remember which) something to do with the dash lights. Now the air bag light is on, when i start the car the light goes off for 1-2 secs and then is constantly on.

Anyone know how i can get this to go off? the car has not been in an accident and the air bags have never been used.

If you have re inserted the fuse and it stays on tge safest way is to get the fault reset using vagcom, that's what I would do anyway

I tried that but it wont let you reset it as it is safety ( well at least i think thats why)

Nope not yet! if i hear anything i will let you know mate!

The airbag system isn't self checking, so even if you fix the fault, it wont go away.

You need it reseting with VAG-COM.
