hanley
Anyone done a single wiper conversion to a Lupo before and if so was it much hassle?
Arvid
a friend of mine did it once on his. I didn't like the result that much and the wiper covers a lot less that the standard two do, so you'll notice the difference in the rain. But the install is pretty straight forward
chris260
Agree with Arvid. I have one on my golf cab but would get on my nerves to use it on a daily driver. Looks cool imo but just makes it annoying missing the corners of the screen, but i could live with it i suppose if i had to use it every day. I put rain x on too so i have to use it even less, gives a bit more visability.
dazraz_uk
There are a few out there. Heres a couple i found.....http://www.motorspeed.com/`cgi-bin`...de=SINGLE_WIPERhttp://www.passionmotorsport.co.uk/solewipers10.htmThe second made by storm is probably the best and i think they do all sorts of different arm style like ones with the washer jet in the wiper arm etcBut thats if you want to buy one or were you thinking of DIY?? im sure the bought kits will be pretty straight forward! Tigz™
I would like one but there is a big but.The arm looks *****, as does the blade. If someone made one that I could keep my GTi blades Id fit one, with the ****ty flimsy blades like are on those kits theres no way Id one. hanley
Yeah after seeing the pics I think I will stick to the two wipers, still gonna cost me £40 though.
Tigz™
Depends on the year. How old is your car?I think its after 04 models you can just buy the blades.
hanley
Nah it's a 2001 Y Reg. They might have alreadt been changed before I bought it so I will check first, to see if it's just the wipers.
