Akinesis
I'm in the middle of changing the oil filter on my Lupo and it will not budge =(The socket mount pulled off when I tried to use that and now I've removed the manifold for access to try other things, but still no joy. Now I'm sitting here nursing my thumb after I've ripped a chunk of flesh out trying to get the damn thing off. Anyone have a solution??Many thanks!Dan
PaperWeight1
Smash a screwdriver into it and use it as leverage.
treblet
Get your mum's marigolds on and twist like buggery, you'd be surprised how much grip they will give!
Toon
Oil it up, should slip straight off
99hjhm
Hammer in a screwdriver, mine tightened up like a bugger, no filter tool I have would shift it.
Akinesis
Cheers guys - the screwdriver method worked!! I've ruined two drivers, though - and one of them was my favourite And not to mention further injuries!!! Got cuts and scrapes everywhere! Who does these things up this tight?? I also had to un-ship the exhaust manifold to get decent clearance, but my perseverance paid off Thanks for help, guys!!
