lupo headlights

Hey all just a quicky to pick your brains......... are lupo headlights the same as New beetle headlights? they look the same shape just wondered if they have the same mountings and if they would fit my lupo.... just found some really nice headlights but they are for a new beetle.... cant find any for a lupo anywhere.. cheers

they are acctually for my misses lupo she hasnt got xeon head lights on hers she has found some angel eye headlights thats she wants but like i said they are for a beetle..... so on the not of her car not having xeons they would fit stright in?

Completely different headlights all together...

It's like saying any round headlight will fit any cart with round headlights...

aaaaahhhhh okie i thought so but just wanted to make shore lol dose anybody know where i can get any headlights for a lupo then.... misses dosnt like the smoked ones but dosnt like the standered ones lol i mentioned painting the inside of them to her she liked the idea but i dont have a clue how to do it haha :D dose anyone no how to do that?

Can you heat up the xenon headlights to split them??

No, not easily. Tried with my old one, just broke.

Wouldn't want to damage £500 worth of headlights myself.

To split the headlight, cover the front clear lens with cling film 1st.

You will need a wide flat screw driver handy.

Then use hot air gun (or hair dryer) blow the edge of the headlight until the glue melt.

That is easier and safe than oven.
