MickB
HelloJust a quick question. It seems that my Lupo is quite loud... (according to the friend of mine who enlighted me this morning). The noise is coming from the exhaust somewhere. I believe that nothing is broken cause I had everything checked recently. However my question is:If the exhaust (standard) is too loud which indicates that something could be wrong... does it have any effect on car's fuel consumption?I was told today that it could but would like to know your opinion regarding this.Thank you.MickB
terry mardi
Having a blowing exhaust will most definitely make an impact on your fuel consumption mate.

steve200
Check where the exhaust loops over the rear axle to the back box, they rot away on the back of rear box at this point first. Mine had a small hole at this point and it does make it a fair bit louder, I left it and it eventually fell off, then it was really loud.
