Ashwin Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 hello, could any one help with a door check strap which is making a loud ticking, cracking sound every time I open and close the drivers and passanger side doors. The MOT person said its the door strap knocking. Iv'e always had VW,s it runs in the family, iv got a 1966 beetle still with us for more than 25 years.
