standard loop front end

does anyone else think it looks better than the gti front end?

i've been looking around an a smoothed standard loop looks proper sweeeeeeeeeeet,would it be poss or wrong to convert a gti front end to a standard one

A lot of the time I prefer non-GTI's.

Would be silly to swap the front end though. Front arches would be too narrow compared to the rears, and you'd be resticted on wheels, even standard Bathursts would poke. And obviously it would be heavier.

The GTI shell has beefier Sills which run into the beefy front and rear arches.

To swap the front end would take a lot more effort than just bolting on some wings and bumper

I Standard front would look lovely on a GTI. I could never bring myself to do it.

GTI's are just special.

I think you could get a classic looking

'dogleg' aircooled style stance going on with the flares out back and the standard arches up front.

easy way to do it is to get a standard bumper modded slightly wider, a good body shop should easily be able to do this, then you keep the lighter and wider gti arches, matched up to the standard bumper, or does where the bumper meets the wings sit in a different place on a gti?
