Gamma cassette radio code

Done a search but couldnt find what i was looking for. Does anybody have the code for the lupo gamma cassette radio?

its specific to each one, however there is on here a way to do it without the code, al have a search for it for you now mate

* Ignition on, Turn radio off;

* Turn ignition off and remove key;

* Insert key and start engine;

* Press power button on radio once;

* When display reads "CODE" press button "1"

try that, i did it with the gamma in my mates mk4 golf and it worked perfect, worth a try for nowt lol

^ That would only work if it's the radio that the car came with from the factory.

my mates golf came with the beta a think, coz it had a beta fitted and a gamma slung in the boot when he got it

I'm after getting a Gamma radio for my sport, as it only comes with a Beta.

Whats the easist was to get a code for a Gamma radio? There are loads on ebay just none of them have codes!

I'm guessing you can either try your local VW dealer, or take it to a car audio place, they should be able to decode/recode a unit for you. Place i used to know would do it for 20 quid or so.
