hartge
Hi guys,my Alpine stereo isnt very secure in the position its supposed to be in, It has the cage in aswell but it isnt fitted securely. Is there supposed to be anything around it to make it sit more steady? It rattles around and getting annoying!any ideas? can anything be fixed to the rear of the stereo to hold it "straight" and not jiggle around lolcheers

nfbr
Is your cage fitted properly?Have all the tabs that can be folded down been folded down?Does your headunit have a rubber bung on the back? The alpine cages usually fit straight in without having to fold the tabs down. They are usually have a "self secure" thingy built into them.
hartge
Most of the tabs have been folded that I can, but still not secure enough. I had a panasonic in there before which was ok, bloody weird! I think i'll have to find the rubber bung thing.
