morgs
Dunno if its already been spoke about and i'm probly being a bit slow........but went to Superchip the other day in buckingham to ask them if they can chip the lupo gti, and they can...but only if you have a Bosh (dunno how you spell it) ecu. Snoopy
It's Bosch, and I think all GTIs have Bosch ECUs, although I might be wrong.I'd want evidence that they've actually done one - the engine and ECU is identical to that of the Mk5 Polo GTI, except that the Polo GTI ECU isn't sealed with glue. They might just be assuming that as they can do the Polo, they can do the Lupo too.
zippy
Zippy's GTI remap (or not...)GTI remapDunno if this would interest you lads... its a piggyback ECU I had fitted to my GTI & remapped. Torque & power graphs in there somewhere.

Snoopy
Exactly that.I presume you could replace the Lupo GTI ecu with a Polo GTI ecu and then chip that. But for the single figure hp gain, probably not worth it.
tdwindustries
aha yes indeed you could swap them over but then not sure if the original program is different on the Polo ECU - and as Snoop has said the gain wouldnt be very significant...... FluxCo
i am guessing they will be different althought the engines are the same, its set up for different cars with different weights for starters
Snoopy
You'd be amazed at what you can get away with, `ECU-wise`. I know someone who fitted an S3 ECU to an Ibiza Cupra, and it just worked!Expensive to try out though.
